ICT Team Retreat to Nha Trang

Team Time-Out In Nha Trang!

As a travel company, we are passionate that our guests love their time in Vietnam. As your local experts, we do all we can to constantly sharpen our existing knowledge. We strive to find out what’s exciting and new to build into your trip design for you. The In Country Tours team took some time out for a company retreat to the beach-side location of Nha Trang. Below is a small selection from our time away.

About Nha Trang

Nha Trang, on Vietnam’s east coast is well-known for its many attractions and activities. These include stunning beaches, islands/peninsula, waterfalls, mud-baths, spas, fresh seafood, history, and Cham culture. In spite of this, it is considered by some as less of a ‘must-visit’ location than some destinations. Nha Trang has a huge amount to offer travellers across a wide range of interests. The team packed in as much as possible to their time away, including historical and cultural highlights in Nha Trang city. We had fun relaxing on and around Nha Trang’s beaches and islands. We experienced active trekking and water activities at the Ba Ho waterfalls, relaxing at Thap Ba Hot Springs, and so much more.

Ba Ho Waterfalls

Ba Ho Waterfalls is a set of three waterfalls and pools in a stream located approximately 45 minutes ride/drive North of Nha Trang. Our team headed there and back by motorbike for added fun and local adventure. This is a beautiful and peaceful location with a different pace you find at the beach and the city. On arrival, there is an area with a host of water activities ranging from kayaks, stand-up paddleboards (SUP),  fun inflatables to climbing/traversing ropes. From there, it is a challenging but short hike up to the three falls, including sections of climbing over boulders and using trees and vines to hold onto. We recommend that visitors need to be moderately fit and should wear shoes or good sandals. The reward for reaching the falls is you can swim in the refreshing water of each pool, and it is a great spot for photos!

Thap Ba Hot Springs

Thap Ba Hot Springs is the perfect place to relax and take some time out after beach, resort or waterfall activities. One of several hot springs near Nha Trang, Thap Ba offers options including mud-baths, spa, hydrotherapy showers, natural spring baths, herbal baths, jacuzzi, swimming pool, spring waterfalls and sauna. The mud-baths are the most well-known (and the most fun!), and the mud is said to provide therapeutic health benefits. The team had a lot of fun getting dirty and then getting clean again!

Po Nagar Temples

The Po Nagar Temple Complex is built on Mount Cu Lao, on the Northern side of the Cai River. The Cham People built these structures between the 8th and 11th centuries and dedicated them to their Hindu Gods. Experts consider Po Nagar one of the most impressive remnants of this ancient culture (along with My Son). The structures are built with the Cham’s famous red-brick style and include inscriptions in their Sanskrit language.

Long Son Pagoda

Long Son Pagoda, also known as Chua Long Son, is situated on the foothill of Trai Thuy. The temple features a large white Buddha image, easily seen from anywhere in the city. This is the headquarters of the Buddhist Association in Khanh Hoa Province. Whilst of historical and cultural significance, it is also a great vantage point for capturing scenic landscape photos.
