Da Nang / Hoi An

The two coastal cities of Hoi An and Da Nang are situated in central Viet Nam only 30 kilometres apart, and have appeal for every traveler, yet have striking contrasts.

Da Nang is Vietnam’s fastest growing city, a modern metropolis of high rise buildings mixed with older French colonial architecture, sitting between the Han River, Son Tra Peninsula and My Khe Beach; one of the longest stretches of beach in Viet Nam.
Hoi An, built between the Thu Bon River and nearby An Bang Beach is a smaller city, known for its charming Ancient Town – a very well preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its charming buildings and its street plan reflect its mix of influences including French, Chinese, Japanese in addition to Vietnamese.
