We are shining a spotlight on Nha Trang’s beaches & blessings. Nha Trang city itself is going through an urban rapid growth phase and so we have given you a quick update on some of our favourite tranquil havens for a beach escape away from the crowds.
NEW INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS TO NHA TRANG
Nha Trang on Viet Nam’s coast is becoming more easily accessible for inbound guests, thanks to a new international routing. Air Asia will soon begin daily direct flights from Kuala Lumpur to Nha Trang, Viet Nam, starting on 14th September 2017. This new routing as an international airport entry & exit point frees up valuable travel time for those wanting to skip the major cities of Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh and head straight to the beach.
This popular destination is well known for its stunning nature, beautiful bays and city beach, where white sand pairs with blue waters that are perfect for swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving, and island-hopping. The area was once the domain of the ancient Cham ethnic minority, with a multitude of opportunities to learn about the culture and history. The city is a contrast of old-meets-new, with heritage attractions set amongst more modern developments.
NEW SACRED CHAM BLESSING
The Cham was once a great and powerful kingdom in South East Asia. Their distinctive culture and customs have been passed from generation to generation from the 2nd century until the present time.
A new experience is available for the traveller wanting a deeper understanding of the ancient Cham culture. With ‘The Sacred Cham’, guests explore this ethnic culture in its most authentic way, with a blessing ceremony and traditional Cham feast, all hosted in the mystic jungle surrounds. The special blessing aims to bring guests good luck, health, and joy in life.
This experience is hosted by a Cham Master, one of only a select few who are permitted to conduct this type of ceremony. This one-of-a kind rendezvous with a master is a truly unique opportunity for a deep connection with Cham culture and Viet Nam. Guests will be immersed in the experience, whilst they embrace the beauty of nature nearby, listen to the sounds of wildlife, feel the ocean breeze and gaze upwards at a sky full of stars.
